Tour Duration: 5 Days 4 Nights
DAY 01: HCMC - NOI BAI AIRPORT - HA GIANG (Lunch-Dinner)
Morning: Guests gather at Tan Son Nhat Airport. Hay Tour team will assist with flight check-in procedures. Upon arrival at Noi Bai Airport (ETA 9:00 AM), the tour guide and vehicle will welcome guests and begin the journey to Ha Giang.
Noon: Lunch and rest in Phu Tho.
Afternoon: Continue the journey to Ha Giang City.
Kilometer Zero milestone in Ha Giang marks the starting point of National Highway 2, connecting Ha Giang province to Hanoi. It symbolizes the beginning of a majestic journey for travelers setting foot in the Dong Van Karst Plateau for the first time.
The starting point of the “Happiness Road”: a route along National Highway 4C beginning from Ha Giang’s Kilometer Zero, passing through four mountainous districts: Quan Ba, Yen Minh, Dong Van, and Meo Vac. Stretching nearly 200 km, this road encapsulates the majestic beauty and cultural richness of Northeast Vietnam.
Evening: Check into the hotel in Ha Giang. Have dinner and free to explore Ha Giang City at night.
DAY 02: HA GIANG - QUAN BA TWIN MOUNTAINS - DONG VAN (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Morning: Have a breakfast at the hotel, then the group go sightseeing;
Quan Ba Twin Mountains: Located in the Quan Ba Valley, these two adjacent rounded hills resemble a woman’s bosom in local legend, nestled among golden rice fields, a symbol of beauty and fertility.
Visit Pho Cao, Sung La, and Lung Cam Cultural Village: Located in Lung Cam Hamlet, Sung La Commune, Dong Van District, this Hmong-majority village is also home to other ethnic groups like Hoa and Lo Lo. Often referred to as a peaceful oasis embraced by the Sung La Valley, the village was famously featured in the Vietnamese film “The Story of Pao”.
Return to Dong Van Town for lunch at a local restaurant, then check into the hotel and rest.
Afternoon: Visit:
The Hmong King's Palace (Vuong Family Palace) is located in Sa Phin Valley and features unique architecture and compelling stories.

Continue to Lung Cu Flag Tower – the Northernmost Point of Vietnam, famously known as the place where "you bow down and touch the land, lift your face and meet the sky." From the tower, admire the terraced rice fields and traditional Lo Lo clay houses in Seo Lung Village below.

Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to walk around Dong Van Ancient Town and enjoy a cup of coffee (personal expense) in the quiet, historical atmosphere of this mountain town.
Overnight stay in Dong Van.
DAY 03: DONG VAN - MA PI LENG PASS - CAO BANG (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Morning: Have a breakfast and the group depart to Cao Bang. En route, visit:
Ma Pi Leng Pass: One of the “Four Great Passes” in Northern Vietnam, Ma Pi Leng is known as the “king” of Vietnam’s mountain passes. It offers dramatic views of towering cliffs on one side and the jade-green Nho Que River gorge on the other.

Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant in Bao Lac.
Afternoon: Continue the journey to Cao Bang.
Ma Pia Pass 14-level pass (if weather permitting): One of the most famous mountain passes in Vietnam. 
Lenin Stream and Pac Bo Cave (if time allows), the revolutionary base where President Ho Chi Minh first returned to Vietnam to lead the national liberation movement.
Arrive in Cao Bang City and check in at the hotel.
Evening: Have dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to explore the highland city.
Overnight stay in Cao Bang.
DAY 04: CAO BANG - BAN GIOC WATERFALL - NGUOM NGAO CAVE - BA BE (Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner)
Morning: After breakfast, visit:
Ban Gioc Waterfall with a height of 53 meters and three tiers, it is considered the most beautiful waterfall in Vietnam and the largest in Southeast Asia. Located on the Vietnam-China border, visitors can also take photos by the national sovereignty marker.
Nguom Ngao Cave: A stunning cave hidden within a majestic mountain in Dam Thuy Commune, Trung Khanh District. Recently opened to tourism, it still retains its pristine beauty, with dramatic limestone formations.
Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon: Depart for Ba Be, Bac Kan Province. Upon arrival, check into the hotel and rest.
Evening: Dinner at a local restaurant. Free time to explore Ba Be Lake. Overnight stay in Ba Be.
DAY 05: BA BE LAKE - HANOI (Breakfast-Lunch)
Morning: After breakfast at the hotel, take a boat and visiting all three sections on Ba Be Lake.
Puong Cave: A large cave in Ba Be National Park, about 5km from Cho Ra town center. Formed by the Nang River carving through limestone cliffs, the 300-meter-long cave features tall walls and colorful stalactites.
Dau Dang Waterfall: A powerful cascade over giant stacked rocks, split into three sections. The first falls are steep and strong, the second divides into two streams, and the third flows gently, creating a dreamy and enchanting landscape.
Widow’s Island: Learn about the culture, lifestyle, and traditions of the ethnic villages along the lake's mountainside.
Noon: Lunch at a local restaurant. Then return to Hanoi.
Transfer to Noi Bai Airport for flights departing after 6:00 PM.
End of the tour, goodbye and see you again!
Depending on actual conditions, the order of visits may be adjusted to ensure all listed attractions are included.

Tips for driver and tour guide
CHILD POLICY (Based on Year of Birth):
Children from 10 years old and above: charged as adults, with full tour services
Children from 5 to under 10 years old: 75% of adult price (includes seat on bus, meals, and entrance tickets; share bed with parents. No separate bed even if two children are charged.)
Children under 5 years old: free of charge for tour price; families are responsible for all expenses, no seat on the bus provided. Each pair of adults may accompany only one free child; the second child will be charged at the 5–under-10 rate.
Children (both free and charged at child rate) are eligible for child entrance tickets. In cases where the child exceeds the height limit specified by some tourist sites and must pay adult entrance fees, the family will cover the additional cost.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
After registration, any cancellation will incur a 50% charge of the total tour price.
Cancellations made 5–10 working days prior to departure will incur an 80% charge.
Cancellations made within 5 days or no-show will be charged 100% of the tour price.
Late arrival on departure day is considered as no-show and subject to 100% cancellation fee.
The time-frames above are calculated based on working days only, excluding weekends and public holidays. If the tour or service is canceled due to force majeure (natural disasters, epidemics, flight delays or cancellations, etc.), the company will refund the unused portion of the tour/service. We shall not be held responsible for any additional compensation beyond what is refunded.
PAYMENT TERMS:
1st Payment: 50% of the tour price must be paid within 2–3 working days after reservation.
2nd Payment: The remaining balance must be paid at least 5–7 days before the departure date.
NOTES ON ACCOMMODATION:
Standard hotel check-in time: after 3:00 PM; check-out time: before 12:00 PM.
Room arrangements at hotels/resorts are subject to availability and may not be adjacent, on the same floor, or match the guest’s bed type preferences (e.g. twin or double). However, we will do our best to accommodate special requests.
HEALTH CONDITIONS & TRAVEL DISCLAIMER:
Guests with preexisting medical conditions (e.g. heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, vertigo) are advised to bring their own prescribed medications.
Travelers aged 80 years and above are not covered by travel insurance. Participation is subject to company review based on health condition and must be accompanied by a family member.
By booking the tour, the customer confirms that they and their travel companions are physically and mentally fit to join the program, and do not suffer from infectious diseases, mental illness, or any condition that could impact other guests.
The guest agrees to waive all claims, legal liabilities, and compensations against the company and its staff regarding health issues arising during the tour.
Any health-related expenses beyond travel insurance coverage (e.g. hospital fees, extended accommodation, special transport) are the guest’s responsibility.
OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES:
Pack light for convenience during travel.
Vegetarian meals can be arranged in advance. However, guests are encouraged to bring personal vegetarian snacks to suit their taste.
This is a package tour. No refunds will be given for any unused services.
We recommend leaving valuable jewelry at home to avoid loss or damage during the trip.
The itinerary and order of sightseeing may change depending on actual conditions such as weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances.
In case of insufficient group size (as specified in the tour details), the company reserves the right to reschedule or cancel the tour with notice at least 5 days before departure, offering either a new date or a full refund.
MEDIA CONSENT:
Photos taken during the tour may be used for the company’s promotional purposes. If you prefer not to have your images used, please inform our staff in advance.
RECEIPTS & INVOICES:
If you require a VAT invoice, please notify us no later than 10 days after the tour ends.
